How do I get my room key?

We don't have keys. Das Salz is entirely digital. You can check in using the link that we send you or at the digital front desk. Then we'll send you a PIN code, which you can use to enter the building and your room.

When will my room be available?

Your room will be available at 3 pm on the day of your arrival. If you need your room earlier, request an early check-in when registering digitally or ask our Guest Experience Team. They will find out whether early check-in is possible. If so, you will receive a message from us on the day of your arrival.

I'd like to stay a bit later. Do you offer late check-out?

Contact our Guest Experience Team and we will try to give you a bit more time. However, the availability of late check-out depends on how many guests are arriving and leaving on the day you are leaving.

How does check-out work?

To check out, use the small check-out button or scan the QR code next to your room door. This lets us know that you're on the way to your next adventure.

Who do I ask when I need something?

Our Guest Experience team is always available to answer all your questions or help you with any problems: you can reach us every day from 08:00 to 18:00, by email, WhatsApp, Facebook or phone.

Do you have housekeeping?

Your room will be professionally cleaned every day. If you'd prefer not to be disturbed in the morning, please hang the "do not disturb" sign on your door, and our team will come by later.

Can I bring my dog with me?

We understand how nice it is to have man's best friend accompany you on your journey of discovery. However, pets are not allowed at das SALZ. Sorry!

Am I allowed to smoke in my room?

No, das SALZ is a non-smoking hotel. Smoke detectors are installed in all rooms for our guests' protection. If you set off the smoke detector, even unintentionally, we are required to check on you and your room. We may need to charge EUR 150 for this inspection.

I need an accessible room. What do I need to do?

Unfortunately, the historical nature of our building means that not all of our rooms are accessible. Please contact our Guest Experience Team in advance, and they will make sure that a room that meets your exact needs is reserved for you.

Do you offer breakfast?

Breakfast is very important to us. Salzburg is easier to explore with the energy from a good meal. That's why we offer two options. A breakfast buffet is available for guests at MUS.Deli on the ground floor from 8 am to 11 am Monday through Sunday. Everyday from 11 am we serve breakfast à la carte (all day long). But if you'd rather set out right away, you can take your breakfast with you. Pick up a breakfast bag with a coffee to go and a croissant or bagel.

Can I park nearby?

Yes, of course! If you need one, we will be happy to offer you an underground car park, which is located about 350 meters from our hotel. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask our Guest Experience Team.

Can I hire a bicycle nearby?

We're big fans of exploring Salzburg on two wheels. That's why we rent out bicycles directly at our hotel. Just ask our Guest Experience Team.
