How can I book at Hotel das Salz?

You can book your desired room directly on our website dassalz.com, by phone, by email or via whats app.

How do I get my room key?

We don't have keys. Das Salz is entirely digital. You can check in using the link that we send you or at the digital front desk. Then we'll send you a PIN code, which you can use to enter the building and your room.

When will my room be available?

Your room will be available from 3 pm on the day of arrival. If you need it earlier, then either request an early check-in during the digital registration or write us a Whats App message directly. They will check if it is possible. If it is feasible, you will receive a message from us on the day of arrival.

I'd like to stay a bit later. Do you offer late check-out?

All you have to do is scan the “Late Check Out” QR code in your hotel room and book quickly and easily. Or you can simply contact our Guest Experience team and we will try to give you a little more time. However, it depends on how many guests are arriving and departing on the day of your departure.

How does check-out work?

To check out, use the small check-out button or scan the QR code next to your room door. This lets us know that you're on the way to your next adventure.

How can I make group reservations?

Please send us an email to welcome@dassalz.com with your request. We will be happy to make you an individual offer if available.

Can I book a room without a credit card?

No, our room reservations can only be paid for in advance and by credit card, otherwise a guaranteed reservation is not possible.

Who do I ask when I need something?

Our Guest Experience Team is available on the phone until 23:00h to answer all your questions or help you with problems: you can also reach us non-stop via whats app with the help of our AI assistant.

Do you have housekeeping?

Your room will be professionally cleaned every day. If you'd prefer not to be disturbed in the morning, please hang the "do not disturb" sign on your door, and our team will come by later.

Can I bring my dog with me?

We understand how nice it is to have man's best friend accompany you on your journey of discovery. However, pets are not allowed at das SALZ. Sorry!

Am I allowed to smoke in my room?

No, das SALZ is a non-smoking hotel. Smoke detectors are installed in all rooms for our guests' protection. If you set off the smoke detector, even unintentionally, we are required to check on you and your room. We may need to charge EUR 150 for this inspection.

I need an accessible room. What do I need to do?

Unfortunately, the historical nature of our building means that not all of our rooms are accessible. Please contact our Guest Experience Team in advance, and they will make sure that a room that meets your exact needs is reserved for you.

Do you offer breakfast?

Breakfast is very important to us. Well fortified, Salzburg is much easier to explore. The SALZ café on the first floor serves a hearty breakfast for our guests from Monday to Sunday from 07:00 - 11:00. Of course, we also offer a varied vegetarian breakfast. If you prefer to start right away, you can also simply take your food with you. Get a coffee-to-go and a Kaisersemmerl or a brioche croissant to go with it.

Can I park nearby?

Yes, of course! If you need one, we will be happy to offer you an underground car park, which is located about 350 meters from our hotel. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask our Guest Experience Team.

Can I hire a bicycle nearby?

We are big fans of exploring Salzburg on two wheels. That's why we also have a bike rental service right in the hotel. Book directly via whats app and off you go.
